With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Miller of Decatur, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 9, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As James departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved James. He was predeceased by : his wife Dorothy Miller. He is survived by : his son James "Jim" Miller of Decatur; and his brother Dennis Miller of Eva, Alabama..

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ridout's Brown-Service Chapel (711 Memorial Dr SW, Decatur, AL 35601). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Union Hill Cemetery.
