He was predeceased by: his parents, Reba Griffin Adams and Walter Seth Adams; and his brother Walter Seth Adams, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Marella Tapp Adams; his children, James Griffin Adams, Jr. (Milly), Michael Seth Adams (Forsyth) and Lesley Adams Hudson (Michael); his grandchildren, James Griffin Adams III, Mary Virginia Olmstead (Clayton), Arthur Richmond Forsyth Adams, Harriet Huntress Crommelin Adams, Michael David Hudson, Jr. and Marella Stewart Hudson; and his great grandchild Henry Ellis Olmstead.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. John's Episcopal Church (202 Gordon Dr SE, Decatur, AL 35601). A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
