He was predeceased by: his parents, George Truitt and Edith Truitt; and his brother Roger. He is survived by: his wife Karen Webb; his son Dennis (Katie); his grandchildren, Clayton (Kelly) and Elizabeth (Patrick); his great grandchildren, Shepherd and Gwendolyn; his brother Daniel Truitt (Deborah); and his sister-in-law Ruby Truitt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
