She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Bethune and Roy Bethune; her husband Wally Sanders (Coach); her sister Ann; her brother-in-law Gene Holcomb; and her brother Bill Bethune.

She is survived by: her sons, Hal Sanders (Pam) and Kirk Sanders (Christy); and her grandchildren, Joe Sanders (Savanna), Ella Baker (Luke), Trey Sanders and Sarah Sanders.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Hospice of the Valley.
