It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eleanor Elizabeth Cook formerly of Decatur, Alabama, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on December 7, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Mitcham and Lola Mitcham; and her son James Lewis Cook. She is survived by: her son John Robert Cook, Jr. (Lyn); her grandson Brian Cook (Leslie); her great grandchildren, John Davis Cook, Nora Jean Cook of Decatur and Virginia Kate Cook of Decatur; and her cousin Gladys Mitcham Cook.
Due to the coronavirus COVID-19, there will be no funeral.
