He was predeceased by: his mother Sandra Fay Powers; and his brother Greg Allen Dotson. He is survived by: his wife Beth Dotson; his father Hubert Ray Dotson (Michelle); his son T. J. Parsons; and his siblings, Scotty Dotson, Brendon Dotson, Tracey Dotson May, Holley Guyse, Tonya Powers, Mindy Hillis (Kevin), Valerie Quinn and Carrie Wirth. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
