Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint David Bruce leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arden Prather and Betty Irene Prather; and his brother William Harley Prather. He is survived by: his wife Bethanie Marks Prather; and his sisters, Sandra Smith and Cheryl Parker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and a great-grandniece.
