He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Elnor Goff Barto and Bob Barto; and his siblings, Robin Henderson, Robert and Delbert Barto.
He is survived by: his wife Carla Stewart; his children, Michael Stewart, Brian Stewart (Amy), Amanda Campbell (David), Rachel Brewer (Brian) and Rebekah Barnette (John); his siblings, Doyne Barto (Kim) and Linda Fulmer (Tinker); and his great grandchildren, Brian Stewart, David Campbell, Greg Campbell, Brian Dean, Zack Wills and Justin Powell. He is also survived by Ten Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Peck Funeral Home (1600 Hwy 31 SW, Hartselle, AL 35640). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Peck Funeral Home Chapel (1600 Hwy 31 SW, Hartselle, AL 35640).
