He was predeceased by: his son Billy Joe Hodges II; and his parents, Chalmer Hodges and Mattie Cole Hodges. He is survived by: his son Christopher "Chris" Hodges; his granddaughters, Brandee Hodges, Cassidy Hodges and Kristie Hodges; and his great grandchildren, Hayden Sain, Caslynn Wilson and Dakota Hodges. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
