He was predeceased by: his father James Montgomery; and his daughter Christina Montgomery. He is survived by: his mother Mary Lukkar; his sons, Russell Montgomery, Jr. and Kyle Montgomery; and his siblings, Michael Pittman, Jessie Pittman, Tina Pittman and Jo Ann Abrams. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
