Nancy Dungan Sanders Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Dungan Sanders of Deatsville, Alabama, who passed away on February 21, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne Sanders; her parents, Marvin Dungan and Mary Eliza Heath Dungan; and her siblings, William T. Dungan, Sanders J. Dungan, Payne R. Dungan, Helen D. McRae, Elizabeth D. Tilley, Louise D. McClung, Ada D. Powers, Polly D. Furr and Muriel D. Hopkins.
She is survived by: her children, David Sanders (Kim) and Sue Ellen Ballard (Mickey); her grandchildren, Bo Harper, Brooke Sanders and Jake Ballard; and her great grandchild Kyle Harper. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the First Baptist Church - Marion (5711 Clinton Dr, Marion, MS 39342). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the First Baptist Church- Marion (5711 Clinton Dr, Marion, MS 39342). A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Chapel Hill Cemetery.
The Sanders family suggests memorials be made as donations to the Gideon's International or Samaritan's Purse in lieu of flowers.
