Julia Diane Johnson Obituary

Mrs. Julia Diane Johnson age 70, a resident of Deatsville, AL passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022, at a local hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Johnson will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home with Pastor Joey Byrd officiating. The interment will follow at Brookside Memorial Gardens. Those serving as pallbearers will be Sam Groff, Kirk Martin, Ryan Pierce, Garlan Gudger, Tripp Gudger, Pierce Gudger, Matt Nunley and Chris Nunley. Mrs. Johnson was a retired bookkeeper. She was also a member of Victory Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents M.W. Nunley, Jr. & Jewell Alvarine Beal Nunley. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Sam. Johnson, Jr., her daughter Tina Smith (Robby), her sister Trena Pierce (Ron), her brother Danny Nunley (Judy), grandchildren Chloe Martin (Kirk), Kaitlin Groff (Sam) and great-granddaughter Braelynn Groff and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, from 5:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
