He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Frank Kight and Florence Lorene Albritton Kight; his son Michael Kight; and his siblings, Johnny Kight and Liz Strickland.
He is survived by: his wife Jerri Kight; his children, Tim Kight (Liz), Janet Oakley (Taylor) and Joy Green (Mark); and his sister Lorena Barrios. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Millbrook Methodist Church (3350 Edgewood Rd, Millbrook, AL 36054). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery (64 N Ann St, Eclectic, AL 36024).
