We are sad to announce that on August 26, 2024 we had to say goodbye to James Henry Hester of Deatsville, Alabama. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Harmon Hester and Maggie Lou Sanders Hester; and his sister Maggie Erlene Hester. He is survived by: his wife Faye Hester; his children, Darrell Hester, Lynn Jernigan (Lamar), Wendy Copeland (Jason) and Ashlee Staggers (Jeff); his brother Harvey Hester; his grandchildren, Courtney Heritage (Chris), Amanda Cotten (Patrick), Morgan Gray (Clark), Cole Copeland, Cade Copeland, Bo Barlow, Hudson Staggers and Fisher Staggers; and his great grandchild Sarah Kylen Gray. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camellia Baptist Church, 201 Woodpile Rd., Prattville, AL 36067 in his memory.
