He is survived by: his sons, James Brown, Jr. (Debbie), Tim Brown (Stacey) and Steve Brown (Nita); and his sister Mildred Cullpepper. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
