He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Phillip Jackson and Novelene Kelsoe Chappell; and his siblings, John Albert Jackson, Fred Jackson, Ned Jackson, Danny Jackson, Mable Jean Till and Eleanor Griffith.
He is survived by: his wife Becky "Beck" Jackson; his children, Benjie Jackson (Kelly) and Jeanna Givens (Leon); his grandchildren, Lauren Boothe (Tivis), Carter Jackson, Jackson Givens, Kaydey Jackson, Nathan Givens and Ashton Givens; his great grandchild Ellison Boothe; and his sister Bennie Faye Soileau.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Camellia Baptist Church (201 Woodvale Rd, Prattville, AL 36067-2713). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 at the Brookside Memorial Gardens (3360 Brookside Dr, Millbrook, AL 36054).
