It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sadie Alberta Willoughby Sherum of Daviston, Alabama, who passed away on January 21, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Walter Willoughby and Ovada Minerva Whaley Willoughby; her husband Mosey Sherum; her grandson Jace Holmes; her siblings, Walt "Boyd" Willoughby, Katherine Hamlet Hester, Eldridge Willoughby, Edna Jones and Jack Willoughby; and her son-in-law Robert Jeral Holmes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Holmes, Melinda Scott (Terry) and April Stewart (Scott); her grandchildren, Jerret Holmes, Ashton Scott Glover (Chase), Addison Scott, Kaley Stewart Pugh (Brandon), Megan Stewart and Krislyn Stewart; her great grandchild Nash Pugh; and her brother Clifford Willoughby (Geraldine). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
