He was predeceased by: his daughter Melony Petersen; his parents, Loyce Petrey and Susie Bradley Petrey; and his siblings, Lawrence Petrey (Margaret), Curtis Petrey and Annie Loyce Johnson (Walt).
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl R. Petrey; his children, Loyce Petrey (Christy), Julie Petrey and Bradley Petrey (Whitney); his son-in-law Gavin Petersen; his grandchildren, Luke Petrey, Bryant Petrey, Devin Petersen, Faith Petersen and Judah Petrey; his great grandchild Trenton Petersen; his brother John Walter Petrey (Betty); and his sister-in-law Nancy Petrey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
