With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ben Spafford of Dauphin Island, Alabama, who passed away on January 9, 2025 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Judith Katrina Amerine; his brother Gordon Lee Spafford, Jr.; and his stepmother Amy Wyatt Spafford. He is survived by: his wife Halley A. Spafford; his son Benjamin M. Spafford, Jr.; his father Dr. Gordon Lee Spafford, Sr.; his siblings, Stephen D. Spafford and Katrina Holbein (Frank); his nephew Frank "Knight" Holbein; his niece Heidi Holbein; his sister-in-law Cheryl "Suzanne" Spafford; and his stepfather Mark Ewald.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (6040 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mobile Memorial Gardens (6100 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619).
