He was predeceased by: his parents, Vinnie Tanner Vereen and William Pomeroy Vereen, Sr.; his son Robert Vereen; his niece DeeDee Williams; and his nephew Scott Vereen.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Jones Vereen; his siblings, Robert Vereen (Diane) and Carolyn Vereen Feltus (Ed); his son William Vereen III (Connie); and his grandchildren, Ashley Vereen Bice (Jake), Jamie Vereen and Mark Vereen (Ricki). He is also survived by three great granddaughters; four nephews; two nieces; several extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Daphne Chapel (27409 US-98, Daphne, AL 36526). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
