He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cheatham and Edna Bruffy. He is survived by: his wife Karen Cheatham; his daughter Candace Cheatham; his sisters, Patricia Truelove (Lee R., Jr.), Jonya Hawkins (David) and Linda Bruffy; his grandchildren, Brianna, Dylan and Kaleb; and his stepmother Barbara Cheatham. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to your church or favorite charity.
