Ruth Christine Garrett Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Christine Garrett (Daphne, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 16, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Koch and Wilhelmina Koch; her husband Joseph Carl Garrett; and her siblings, Bernadine Koch Ezell and Victor Koch.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Clements (Scott) of Belforest, Margaret Ann Garrett (John O'Donnell) of Atlanta, Georgia and Lynn McWhorter (Jim) of Mobile; her grandchildren, Alyssa Morisani, Jr. (Steve), Carl Wade (Kristen), Sarah Siefert (Callye Williams), Matthew McWhorter (Emily), Jordan Graham (Taylor), June Plunkett (Jeff) and Amber Cook; her great grandchildren, Stephen Morisani III, Lucia Morisani, Gianna Morisani, Philip Morisani, Andrew Morisani, Peter Morisani, Margherita Morisani, William Wade, Emily Wade, Jeremiah Wade, Hillary Siefert, Garrett Siefert, Madeline McWhorter, Joseph McWhorter, Maggie Stewart, Emma Plunkett and Jacob Plunkett; her brother Dean Koch (Carolyn); and her caregivers, Yolanda, Lisa, Tan and Whitney of Grace Mercy. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and numerous other relatives.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Daphne Chapel (27409 US-98, Daphne, AL 36526). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
