She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Anatolize Herold and Hannon Spotswood Hairston. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Andrew Bailey; her children, Mary Catherine Bailey and William Hannon Bailey (Caroline); her sisters, Elizabeth Hairston Hall and Susan Hairston Carter; her nieces, Nicole Carter Sciortino, Courtney Carter Griffith and Erica Taylor Hall; and her nephew Drew Bailey. She is also survived by great nephews and a great niece.
