She was predeceased by: her daughter-in-law Felicia Manley Horton; her parents, Marcus Taylor and Alice Belew; her siblings, William Theodore (Bernice), Robert Houston (Mary), Harris (Inez), Marcus Taylor Jr. (Helen) and Jane (Bob); and her brother-in-law Dewey Horton.

She is survived by: her husband Charles R. Horton; her son Jeffrey C; and her sister-in-law Mary Leona Horton.
