He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Newt V. Barnett and Catherine Bernice Foster; his wife Jean Barnett of Daphne, AL; his children, Donald Louis Barnett and Julie Barnett Orosz (Joseph) of Fairhope, AL; his grandchildren, Chad Barnett, Samantha Barnett, Sean Barnett, Amelia Porto, Isabella Porto, Grant Orosz and Savannah Orosz; and his sister Helen Madugno of Santa Barbara, CA..

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Comfort Care Hospice, 22502 Hwy 98, Fairhope, AL 36532.
