He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Shelmerdene Pruett Folsom of Daphne, AL; and his sons, John L. Folsom, Jr. (Betty Ann) of Tifton, GA, Michael T. Folsom (Rita) of Clayton, NC, Kenneth L. Folsom (Sharon) of Loxley, AL and Christopher Folsom (Tina) of Helena, AL. He was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
