With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Ramsey Allen of Daphne, Alabama, born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on September 19, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, David Brownlie Ramsay, Jr. and Helen Sills Ramsay; her brothers-in-law, Basil Royce Allen and Ravon Eugene Allen; and her stepson Eugene Allen.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Wayne Allen; her brother David Ramsay III (Nancy) of Tallahassee, FL; her sister-in-law Janice Allen Williamson of Saraland, AL; her daughters, Lori Harris (David) of Mobile, AL and Christie Halloran of Birmingham, AL; and her stepdaughter Dee Dee Fryman (Vernon) of Cynthiana, KY. She is also survived by five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two nephews, numerous extended family.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in memory of Mrs. Allen be made to your favorite charity.
