He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertis Mobley, Sr. and Willie Mae Davis; and his brothers, Bertis Jr., Lee Ernest, Fred, Melvin and Willie Louis Mobley.
He is survived by: his sons, Danny Maye, Eugene Thomas (Shirley) and Mike Thomas; his siblings, George Davis (Betty), Ronne Davis and Rosetta Rencher; his grandchildren, Deanna Mitchell and Travis Mitchell; his brother-in-law Martin Dale; and also OJ Smith. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
