She is survived by: her husband John E. Gilbert; her children, Johnny West Hicks (Teresa) and Lucinda Hicks Little; and her siblings, Robert Owens (Vicky) and Mary Frances Kinsey (Edward). She is also survived by five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
