He was predeceased by: his parents, James Milton and Edna Gertrude West; and his siblings, James West, Carl West and Marie Cromer.
He is survived by: his wife Jennie Sue West; his children, Donnie West (Stacie), Ron West (Leslie), Johnny West, Kathy West and Lonnie West (Tricia); and his grandchildren, Angela DeMarco (Justin), Brandon West, Marli West, Ronnie West (Kristina), Jessica Davis (James), John William West Jr., Jordon West, Amberly Owens (Matthew), Ashleigh Hamilton (Orie), Abbey Landis (Jesus Levya) and Sydney Bradshaw (TJ). He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
