He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Henry Skanes and Iris Huff; his wife Anita Darlene Pierce; his children, Angie Booco (Lawrence) of Ft. Lupton, CO, Chris Skanes (Sheri) of Tyler, TX and Troy Skanes of Daphne, AL; his grandchildren, Mark, Caitie, Hailey, Cameron, Emily, Adam and Aidan; and his siblings, Marigene, Laurie, John and Jay.
In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to make donations in his memory, please donate to the American Cancer Society, St. Judes Children's Research Hospital or Wounded Warriors Foundation.
