He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patsy B.; his children, Darlene DeFilippi Gore of Daphne, AL, Derek DeFilippi (Donielle) of Daphne, AL and Kevin DeFilippi of Daphne, AL; his sisters, Dell Wilcox of Opelika and Shirley Sirmon of Daphne; and his grandchildren, Taylor Gore, Jacob Gore, Brantley Gore, Nick DeFilippi, Dalton DeFilippi, Dylan DeFilippi and Gabriella DeFilippi. He was also cherished by many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to the Mitchell Cancer Center in Fairhope, AL.
