She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruben Nichols and Lois Nichols. She is survived by: her husband R. Brent Mitchell; her children, Dustin Mitchell (Josey) and Kathryn Lipson (Ryan); her siblings, Ruben Vaughn Nichols, Jr., Janice Heacock and Marilyn Nichols; and her grandchildren, Finn Dustin Mitchell, Ryan Lipson, Rueben Vaughn Nichols, Jr., Don Heacock, Jared Tanner and Stratton Garner.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Danville Baptist Church (5944 AL-36, Danville, AL 35619). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at the Herring Cemetery.
