He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Chell and Evelyn Spanengerberg Chell; his wife Thelma Chell; his daughter Donna Lynn Chell; his siblings, Ernest Chell, Evelyn Bailey, Peggy Huran and Catherone Gill; his stepfather Steve Gensicki; and his son-in-law Philip Morris.
He is survived by: his children, Raymond Chell, Steve Chell (Linda) and Roxann Morris; his sisters, Doris Chell, Marion Witt and Myrtle Huran (Jack); his grandchildren, Alan Peterson, Jason Nelson, Ashley Younghans (Josh), Megan Herchenhahn, Kristian Hayes (Chelsea) and Chris Chell (Tiffany); and his great grandchildren, Lexi, Charlie, Logan, Marina, Sidney, Jordin, Addison and Abby.
