He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Cole and Rena Cole; his wife Nadine Lipscomb Cole; and his siblings, Harold "Red" Cole, Curtis Cole, Bernard Cole, Betty Jo Cole and Francis Hyde.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie Cole (Beth) and Shelia Kerby (Kenny); his grandchildren, Nicholas Cole (Cindy), Kristy Cook (Bryan) and Libby Lovelady (Chris); and his stepgrandchildren, Kari Driver (Josh) and Aaron Shelnutt (Amber). He is also survived by seven Great grandchildren, seven Step great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.
