He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer L. McCaghren and Leola E. Keenum McCaghren; and his brother Charles McCaghren. He is survived by: his wife Ima Sue McCaghren of Danville; his children, Howell Keith McCaghren (Kim) and Anita McCaghren Miller (Mike); his sister Dorothy McCaghren Jarvis of Danville; and his grandchildren, Leah Miller Simpson (Casey) and Howell Keith McCaghren II (Sarah).
