She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Clyde Smith Sr. and Nina May Ehrig of Newton; her husband Wyatt Christopher McDaniel; her stepfather Peter J. Monk of Newton; her sister-in-law Linda Obert; and her siblings, Debbie Tate, Viney Scott and Lonnie Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Tonya McDaniel Wesley (Eddie) and Christopher Bradley McDaniel; her grandchildren, Justin Wesley, Timothy Wesley (Bre), Shane Wesley and Qylesioun Wesley; her great grandchildren, Aliyah Dean, Caeleb Wesley and Maurice Wesley; her siblings, Eddie Smith Jr. (Dee), Jake Smith, Tony Smith (Pam), Billy Smith (Debbie) and Rose Elmore; her friend Janette; and also, Wendy, Karen and LaShun. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
