He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Venable and Mary Caytes Venable; and his sister Carolyn Hyde of Lake Charles, Louisiana.. He is survived by: his wife Pansy Jones Venable (Pam); his children, Craig Lewis and Melissa Starnes (Ralph); his grandchildren, Christy, Lexi Lewis, Tiffany Fontenot (Chad) of Baton Rouge, Amanda Dewitz (Jeff) of Bulverde, Jamie Homrich (Robert) of Savannah and Tyler Davis of Sulphur, Louisiana; his great grandchildren, Bree, Gerie, Wyatt Allen, Vivian Jo Homrich, Jordan Lewis, Bella Courville and Blake Dewitz; and his niece Kelsey Rakes. He is also survived by numerous other nephews and nieces.
