He was predeceased by: his parents, John Howard and June Miriam Lashley Rex; his wife Betty Sue Rex; his son Harold Bryant; and his grandchildren, Kaitlin Robbins, Wade Robbins Jr. and Edward Childree.
He is survived by: his children, John Lewis Rex, Wade Franklin Robbins (Mary), Michael O'Neal Bryant, Kandia Childree (Eva) and Stephanie Elson (Tim); his siblings, Dawn Rex, Cindy Randall, Liese Rex and Jimmy Rex; and his grandchildren, Nikki Rogers, Robert Robbins, Bridget Bryant, Michael Bryant, Maranda Bryant, Rebecca "Becka" Bryant, Jeri Bryant, Trisden Rex, Logan Rex, Gavin Rex, Ethan Giles, Dylan Giles, Harlie Jones and Jades Robbins. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory (4550 Boll Weevil Cir, Enterprise, AL 36330). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
