She was predeceased by: her children, Angie Etheredge and Brian Etheredge; her husband Earle Thompson, Sr.; her parents, Gladys Dillard and James A. Thomas; and her siblings, Patricia Ann Keahee, Jewell Davis and Earl Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Andy Etheredge, Scott Etheredge (Kim), Lisa Etheredge Blanton (David), Chris Etheredge, Earle Thompson, Jr. (Jamea) and Tanya Deavers (Joey); her grandchildren, Brandon Etheredge (Charlsie), Arielle Etheredge, Ethan Etheredge, Leslie Beckham (Dana), Lindsey Andrews (Jarod), Scott Deavers (Sara) and Matthew Thompson; and her close friend Steve Crouch. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
