She was predeceased by: her husband Charles W. Shirley, Sr.; her daughter Mary Ethel Sasser; and her sisters, Grace Patterson and Myrler Daw. She is survived by: her children, Betty Jo Christian (Randy), Charles W. "Pete" Shirley Jr. of Daleville, Alabama and Scotty Shirley (Sharon) of Daleville, Alabama; her sister Sue Mayberry (Joe); her son-in-law Eugene Sasser; and her grandchildren, Timothy Shirley, Charlie Shirley (Jennifer), Jacob Shirley, Tyler Shirley, Sierra Lindsey (Austin), Casey Christian, Chasitie Victor (Craig), Chelsie Chancellor (Kristina), Jeffrey Chancellor (Jessica), Amber Mullen (Ronnie) and Corey Adams. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
