He was predeceased by: his father Edward Berry; and his sister Jeanette Strops. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Strops; his son John Edward Strops; his daughter-in-law Nicole Lynn Strops; his daughter Amber Nicole Hicks; his son-in-law Richard Allen Hicks; and his siblings-in-law, John and Regina Roe. He is also survived by five brothers; four sisters; and ten grandchildren.
