Donald Youngpeter Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 5, 2021, at the age of 90, Donald Youngpeter of Daleville, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Youngpeter and Alma Shirack Youngpeter; his wife Helen; his siblings, Ann Ruen and Richard Youngpeter (Dick); and his siblings-in-law, Carol Youngpeter, Marilyn Youngpeter and Fred Ruen.

He is survived by: his children, Laura McLemore (John) of St. Petersburg, FL, Lynda Sutton of Durham, NC, Teresa Phillips of Greensboro, NC, Michael Youngpeter (Laura) of Mobile, AL and Steven Youngpeter (Marie) of Montgomery, AL; his siblings, Leon Youngpeter (Diane) of Ft. Wayne, IN, Joseph Youngpeter of Landeck, Ohio and Ruth Faulter (Ron) of Columbia, SC.; his grandchildren, Michael Haga (Emily), Oscar Phillips (Echo), Carson Phillips, Katie Ingraham (Ken), Stephanie Mailand (Will), Meghan Echols (Luke), Amanda Youngpeter, Jennifer Youngpeter (Eric), Christopher Youngpeter, Matthew Youngpeter and Rachel Youngpeter; and his great grandchildren, Isla, Ryleigh, Alexander, Lena, Charlotte, James and Alexandra. He is also survived by the oldest of four brothers and two sisters.
