He is survived by: his children, Sonja (Douglas Wilhelm), Sabina Wilson of Richmond, Virginia, Bruno (Tamera Trenkler), Martin (June Trenkler), Thomas Trenkler of Hendersonville and David Trenkler of Daleville; his grandchildren, Christa Ray, Benjamin Trenkler, Alexandra Trenkler, Stephen Trenkler, Kimberly Trenkler, James Trenkler, Melanie Trenkler, Noah Trenkler, Jacob Wilson, Madeline Wilson, Alan-Michael Wilson, Anneliese Wilhelm and Julianna Wilhelm; and his great grandchildren, Eva Ray and Aeralyn Ray.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1500 East Andrews Avenue, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
