It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Bowden of Daleville, Alabama, born in Newport News, Virginia, who passed away on November 29, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Inez Eledge-Martin of Chincoteague, VA and Winton Wardell Martin, Jr. of Grafton; her husband Roy Bowden of Chincoteague, VA; and her brother Richard Martin of Chincoteague. She is survived by: her daughter Dianna Lynn Polson-Kiley; her granddaughter Susan Walker; her great grandchild Dana Marie McGraw-Hodges; her sisters, Patricia Diane Martin, Joan Martin-Landon, Darleen Martin-Riley and Teena Rose Martin-Taylor; her sister-in-law Carol Bowden of Chincoteague Island, VA.; and also, Brenda Smith and Kelsey Trawick. She is also survived by Several Nieces, Nephews and cousins.
