Steve Slaughter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steve Slaughter of Dadeville, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 1, 2025 at the age of 74. He is survived by: his wife Angelia L. Slaughter; his sons, Deshawn Cameron (Roxanne), Courtney Davis (LaQuanda) and Kenyell Davis (Kristi); his father-in-law Arthur Foster (Kathy); his siblings, Jerome Slaughter, Kerry Slaughter (Michelle), Stanley Turner, Darryl Heard (Rachel), Randy Turner (Monica), Ricky Turner, John Slaughter, Patricia Slaughter, Carolyn Davis (James), Judy Slaughter and Ruby Slaughter; his siblings-in-law, Sadie Robinson, Earison Davis, Aleshia Ponds (Lunzia), Anthony Foster, Jammie and Josh Davis; his niece Monica Moss (Phil); his nephew Quincy Turner; and his close friends, Jimmy "Scoop" Rowe and Felix Lockhart. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel (612 M. L. King Drive SE, Lafayette, AL 36862). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church (281 Pine Grove Loop, Dadeville, AL 36853).
