He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Rodgers and Lois Patten Rodgers; and his wife Carolyn Rodgers. He is survived by: his sons, Chris Rodgers and Daniel Rodgers (Jen); his sister Judy Causey; his grandchildren, Brady Rodgers, Allie Rodgers and Ryan Rodgers; and his adoptive daughter Kimmie Chesney.
