He is survived by: his wife Jo Anne Huey Barnes of Dadeville; his sons, Scott Barnes (Karen) of Auburn, AL and Trey Barnes (Bianca) of Woodstock, GA; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Sydney, Braxton Barnes of Auburn, AL, Danielle and Ally Barnes of Woodstock, GA; his sister Elizabeth Barnes Gist of Jackson; and his nieces, Hannah Gist Jones (Jeff) of Pell City, AL and Daily Gist of Atlanta, GA..
