It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Lamar Herring of Dadeville, Alabama, who passed away on September 20, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Phipps Herring; his son Stanley Mark; his parents, Otis Herring and Leila Herring; and his siblings, Otis Jr., Thurston and Francis.
He is survived by: his son Steven; his granddaughters, Carrie, Jasmine and Lydia; his great grandchild Annabelle; and his siblings, Robert and Nina.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be sent to State Employees Credit Union (SECU) Jim and Betsy Bryan Hospice Home of UNC Health Care in Pittsboro, North Carolina.
