It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dona Patterson of Dadeville, Alabama, who passed away on September 18, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Theo Hawkins and Jane Neighbors Hawkins; her husbands, Charles David Dark and Douglas Patterson; and her siblings, Barbara Jane Hawkins Hemphill, Willie Theo Hawkins, Jr. and Thomas Cleve Hawkins.
She is survived by: her children, Dona Lisa Losole (Frank) of Montgomery, AL, Charles David Dark (Christy) of Dadeville and Derek Andrew Dark (Shannon) of Dadeville; her stepchildren, Vicky Patterson Bayles (Ken), Phillip Patterson (Sherri), Chris Patterson (Beth) and Patrick Patterson (Megan); and her sister Sandra Kay Hawkins Nail (Jim). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
The family will accept flowers or donations to Kellyton United Methodist Church or New Concord Baptist Church.
